A hard shot by Valdir Neves from long distance, 10 minutes into the match, got Bernardino Peruxu's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Bernardino Peruxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Diniz in the 11th minute of play. After 16 minutes, Antonio Inguma mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pendex and the Goiás Esporte Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Dênis Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goiás Esporte Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Dênis Faria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardino Peruxu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 21 played minutes Pendex got a freekick which was hit by Teo Lauaxeta. Umberto Peres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Umberto Peres in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardino Peruxu saved Pendex from getting behind. After 25 played minutes Goiás Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Dênis Faria. In the 26th minute of the match Luciano Johans shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Natanael Paraense showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcus Diniz in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardino Peruxu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Goiás Esporte Clube were awarded a corner in the 31th minute after Pendex's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Valdir Neves took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Valdir Neves got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bernardino Peruxu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to Goiás Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Valdir Neves hit a great ball. 35 minutes into the match, Joaquin Perez notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Goiás Esporte Clube's Natanael Paraense. Natanael Paraense was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Natanael Paraense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Dantel in the 37th minute of play. In the 39th minute Antonio Inguma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natanael Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Diniz in the 41st minute of play forced Pendex's goalkeeper Bernardino Peruxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pendex's Bernardino Peruxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdir Neves in the 43rd minute of play. Marcus Diniz kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joaquin Perez was the one to do the kick off. Dênis Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Peruxu having to interfere. Americo Dantel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Natanael Paraense made a huge save. Goiás Esporte Clube were furious when 夏天 赵云凡 was red carded, 72 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 夏天 赵云凡 hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Pendex made a substitution. Gualterio Quilo replaced Americo Dantel. After a rather tough play, Goiás Esporte Clube's 夏天 赵云凡 got a free kick in the 74th minute. Pendex's Maximiliano Tabby got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Natanael Paraense made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonio Inguma in the 79th minute. Goiás Esporte Clube's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when Luciano Johans scored to the left of an out of position Natanael Paraense, making the score, 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gualterio Quilo got free with Natanael Paraense in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
