In the 15th minute Tomás Marini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Till Geppert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonides Eladio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Immanuel Baumann, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Dominik Klemt hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Till Geppert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Rayman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Damian Vigil fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's protests and gave Damian Vigil a yellow card for diving instead. Damian Vigil hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Juan Pablo Gallinas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Till Geppert came out and tried to block the shot, but Juan Pablo Gallinas slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 28th minute. The audience was convinced that Tomás Marini's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Till Geppert was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Leonides Eladio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Immanuel Baumann in the 35th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's zone, Immanuel Baumann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonides Eladio came out of the goal and Immanuel Baumann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Albert Kiefer fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hannover Reds's protests and gave Albert Kiefer a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Hannover Reds:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT:s goal. The referee gave Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Jose Rayman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hannover Reds's Till Geppert. 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomás Marini to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's goalkeeper Leonides Eladio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's Saul Maureo got a free kick in the 68th minute. Marcelino Panfilo charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelino Panfilo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 70 played minutes Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT got a freekick which was hit by Marcelino Panfilo. In the 70th minute of the match Immanuel Baumann sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leonides Eladio skillfully saved the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Ben Labigne recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leonides Eladio. Ben Labigne showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Leonides Eladio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paavo Burgdorf in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute of the match, Dominik Klemt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Leonides Eladio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paavo Burgdorf got free with Leonides Eladio in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 81st minute Dominik Klemt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Eladio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, one of Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT. Leonides Eladio had in the 83rdth minute some difficulties stopping Immanuel Baumann's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Marcelino Panfilo hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Leonides Eladio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paavo Burgdorf in the 90th minute. A collision led to Hannover Reds getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Immanuel Baumann hit a great ball. Till Geppert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Pablo Gallinas in the 92nd minute of play. Leonides Eladio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paavo Burgdorf went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-4 was the resulting score. The Hannover Reds supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hannover Reds would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
