Spectators: 7839 (Terracing: 5881, Seating: 1802, VIP seats: 156) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joaquin Perez got the match started through his kick off. Bernardino Peruxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jack Ares in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute Joaquin Perez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Vuia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Granicerul's goalkeeper Remus Vuia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antonio Inguma. Bernardino Peruxu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Logofătu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 15th minute, Joaquin Perez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remus Vuia was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Remus Vuia made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Americo Dantel sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th match minute, Pendex was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Johans to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the match, Pendex's goal looked a bit too open when Jack Ares came free, but Bernardino Peruxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 33 minutes, Teo Lauaxeta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pendex's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teo Lauaxeta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Logofătu in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernardino Peruxu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Joaquin Perez took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Remus Vuia to make any attempt to save it.

Luciano Johans kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Remus Vuia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Americo Dantel, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Americo Dantel might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Remus Vuia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Americo Dantel ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 62nd minute, Luciano Johans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Iordache Ioneasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Pendex's zone, Jack Ares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardino Peruxu came out of the goal and Jack Ares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pendex's Antonio Cruz was substituted for Marciano Gartzi. Pendex made a substitution. Gualterio Quilo replaced Americo Dantel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Inguma in the 73rd minute of play forced Granicerul's goalkeeper Remus Vuia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remus Vuia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Perez in the 81st minute of play. If Joaquin Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Granicerul's Iordache Ioneasa got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernardino Peruxu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Logofătu in the 90th minute. Granicerul were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Pendex's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Laurențiu Ciocâltea took the corner. Remus Vuia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Cruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Pendex fans cheered their team off the field, for while Granicerul had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
