After a rather tough play, Hannover Reds's Ratko Heesen got a free kick in the 4th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Sporting Royal's goal looked a bit too open when Immanuel Baumann came free, but Lucrețiu Roșeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Hannover Reds's goal looked a bit too open when Octavian Gherasescu came free, but Till Geppert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sporting Royal's Dorin Borza got a free kick in the 12th minute. Lucrețiu Roșeanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Immanuel Baumann in the 14th minute. Lucrețiu Roșeanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ben Labigne, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute, Marcu Ploieșteanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Royal's zone, Sol Harnack stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucrețiu Roșeanu came out of the goal and Sol Harnack tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olimpiu Oardă scored 1-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Till Geppert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lucrețiu Roșeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ben Labigne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute Dorin Borza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Till Geppert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 minutes Hannover Reds's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alessandro Bonelli who took care of the corner kick.

Till Geppert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olimpiu Oardă, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Hannover Reds's goalkeeper Till Geppert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Virgil Panciu. A hard shot by Mugurel Vârșan from long distance, 68 minutes into the match, got Till Geppert's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 74th minute, Rene Burschick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Mathijs Luijten in the 76th minute really tested Till Geppert's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Sporting Royal's Lucrețiu Roșeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ben Labigne in the 79th minute of play. Lucrețiu Roșeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ratko Heesen in the 80th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute of the match Sporting Royal got a corner. Hannover Reds's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Virgil Panciu ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Sporting Royal's corner Virgil Panciu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Till Geppert quite easily take care of the ball. Alin Dragalina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Till Geppert having to interfere. Till Geppert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavian Gherasescu in the 85th minute of the match. Till Geppert made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Virgil Panciu sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th minute, Immanuel Baumann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hannover Reds fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hannover Reds had won after a very even match.
