After 4 minutes, Elói de Almeida mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arsenal de Gols F.C and the Academia B.F. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Academia B.F.'s Wiliam Carioca quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dadá de Azevedo, made in the 10th minute of the game. 11 minutes into the match, Primo Sans notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Arsenal de Gols F.C's Nils Rast. Nils Rast was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lauro Quirino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tony Brasil hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Wiliam Carioca hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Sílvio Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vicente Catarinense read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Primo Sans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nils Rast was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Nils Rast came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Academia B.F.'s Primo Sans. But to his dismay, Primo Sans quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 30 played minutes Arsenal de Gols F.C got a freekick which was hit by Elói de Almeida. Arsenal de Gols F.C's Nils Rast played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primo Sans in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primo Sans in the 34th minute of play forced Arsenal de Gols F.C's goalkeeper Nils Rast to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lauro Quirino hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Wiliam Carioca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Rast having to interfere. Primo Sans received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Nils Rast tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 46 minutes of play, Academia B.F.'s Primo Sans made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nils Rast was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Academia B.F. were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

50 minutes into the game, Wiliam Carioca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Academia B.F.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arsenal de Gols F.C the free kick. Wiliam Carioca kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. In the 51st minute of the match Romário Passos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vicente Catarinense showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Academia B.F. booed when Arsenal de Gols F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuri Alberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tony Brasil hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Dadá de Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. A collision led to Academia B.F. getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Josué Godoi hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Academia B.F.'s Josué Godoi got a free kick in the 69th minute. After 70 played minutes, Arsenal de Gols F.C's Yuri Alberto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vicente Catarinense came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arsenal de Gols F.C reached it. In the 72nd minute, Michel Totti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nils Rast was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. In the 80thth minute of the game Michel Totti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arsenal de Gols F.C's Nils Rast was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Michel Totti took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Nils Rast to make any attempt to save it. Michel Totti received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nils Rast came out and tried to block the shot, but Michel Totti slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 92nd minute. After 96 minutes, Michel Totti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Academia B.F. and the Arsenal de Gols F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card.
