Gez Little could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 2nd minute of the match, but Nils Rast made a huge save. 3 minutes had been played when some careless play by Arsenal de Gols F.C's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dave Ferrell was slow to take the kick. During this time Ampthill FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Ampthill FC's Dave Ferrell to fire away a dangerous shot which Nils Rast despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gez Little got free with Nils Rast in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zack Alderson in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nils Rast prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Roberto Félix in the 14th minute of play forced Ampthill FC's goalkeeper Nial Botham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nils Rast showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jack Potts, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Arsenal de Gols F.C's Nils Rast played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jack Potts in the 17th minute of play. Nial Botham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Roberto Félix, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zack Alderson to strike the kick off in the second half. Arsenal de Gols F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zack Alderson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Nils Rast took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Potts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute Gez Little shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils Rast saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gez Little struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Nils Rast didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ampthill FC. Jack Potts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Nils Rast tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ampthill FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
