The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Forever Tango's Marcial Uzuri ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nial Botham. Nial Botham yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, Forever Tango's goal looked a bit too open when Dave Ferrell came free, but Nemesio Montez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Forever Tango booed when Ampthill FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dave Ferrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gez Little scored 1-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nemesio Montez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 27 minutes into the game, Forever Tango's Thomas Melse nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nial Botham made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Nemesio Montez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jack Potts in the 33rd minute of the match. Forever Tango's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Igor Oinaz in the 39th minute. Luisito Senio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Nial Botham made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zack Alderson to make the kick off. Thomas Melse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute, Thomas Melse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ēriks Jukams's late challenge caught a Ampthill FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ēriks Jukams helped the player get up and apologised. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gez Little got free with Nemesio Montez in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jack Potts received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nemesio Montez came out and tried to block the shot, but Jack Potts slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 66th minute. Nial Botham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luisito Senio in the 69th minute of the match. Forever Tango's Nemesio Montez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Forever Tango from getting a goal against them. In the 71st minute, Jack Potts left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ampthill FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. After a rather tough play, Ampthill FC's Dave Ferrell got a free kick in the 76th minute. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Luisito Senio put it in 5-4 from a short distance just to the right of Nial Botham. Nemesio Montez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jack Potts, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Marcial Uzuri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nial Botham having to interfere. Nemesio Montez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zack Alderson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Forever Tango getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Luisito Senio hit a great ball. After 90 minutes, Natalio Benet made it 6-4 with a short kick to the right side. Ampthill FC's Nial Botham tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Nemesio Montez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Potts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, Forever Tango's goalkeeper Nemesio Montez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zack Alderson. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Forever Tango had won after a very even match.
