Cornelio Merexildo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Habakkuk Shearer in the 33rd minute of play. The tension between the Defensores del Albinegro and the Injuries players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Injuries booed when Defensores del Albinegro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gecel Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurids Logie in the 78th minute of play forced Defensores del Albinegro's goalkeeper Cornelio Merexildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Injuries's Lorien Vilela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Injuries from getting a goal against them.
