The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Enginalp Orkun's late challenge caught a Defensores del Albinegro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enginalp Orkun helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Anatolia FC's Enginalp Orkun got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 3rd minute of the match Marz Caracedo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Haluk Sarıcabay showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Li Sha Yuan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Haluk Sarıcabay was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Haluk Sarıcabay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Aritza in the 13th minute of play. Haluk Sarıcabay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Li Sha Yuan in the 16th minute of the match. Haluk Sudi hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute Ahmet Bülent Cevar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Merexildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anatolia FC's Haluk Sarıcabay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Aritza in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Li Sha Yuan in the 39th minute of play forced Anatolia FC's goalkeeper Haluk Sarıcabay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haluk Sudi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Cornelio Merexildo made a huge save. 44 minutes into the match, Maximo Aritza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Haluk Sarıcabay. Anatolia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximo Aritza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Anatolia FC's Haluk Sarıcabay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Aritza in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Defensores del Albinegro were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Maximo Aritza to make the kick off. Haluk Sarıcabay made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Saturnino Diagur sent off a good shot on target. Lorenzo Lluterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haluk Sarıcabay having to interfere. Hüseyin Rahmi Savni hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Anatolia FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Li Sha Yuan scored to the left of an out of position Haluk Sarıcabay, making the score, 0-4. Cornelio Merexildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hüseyin Rahmi Savni in the 68th minute of the match. With a little luck, Anatolia FC's Haluk Sarıcabay got control of the ball when Maximo Aritza tried to sneak it across the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Maximo Aritza notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Anatolia FC's Haluk Sarıcabay.
