Epifanio Valery dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Gallo Haedo hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute Silvério Vasconcelos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Valery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MZ Fénix's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Américo Vasconcelos in the 27th minute. U21 Totoras F.C.'s Epifanio Valery proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save U21 Totoras F.C. from getting a goal against them. Silvério Vasconcelos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Epifanio Valery read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Evarado in the 33rd minute of play forced MZ Fénix's goalkeeper Delfim Vilas Boas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvério Vasconcelos kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in U21 Totoras F.C.'s zone, Nicolas Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Epifanio Valery came out of the goal and Nicolas Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by U21 Totoras F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Américo Vasconcelos was slow to take the kick. During this time MZ Fénix's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to MZ Fénix's Belchior Miranda getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 47 played minutes MZ Fénix got a freekick which was hit by Silvério Vasconcelos. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Delfim Vilas Boas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. MZ Fénix's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Benito Pacorro scored to the left of an out of position Delfim Vilas Boas, making the score, 2-2. After 66 played minutes U21 Totoras F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gallo Haedo. In the 67th minute, Gallo Haedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvério Vasconcelos struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Epifanio Valery didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MZ Fénix. MZ Fénix's Delfim Vilas Boas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Evarado in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Maxi Fernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
