UFC STEAUA's João Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Maiorga in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Austin in the 12th minute of play forced UFC STEAUA's goalkeeper João Massa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Nelson Mendoza kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Federico Isias. That made the score 1-0 in the 21 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson Mendoza in the 24th minute of play forced Angua FC's goalkeeper Federico Isias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, UFC STEAUA's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Austin came free, but João Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Rafet Faydalı fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UFC STEAUA's protests and gave Rafet Faydalı a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Angua FC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. The wind increased when Ricardo Austin made the kick off in the second half. Angua FC were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after UFC STEAUA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jonatan Gelmiro took the corner. Angua FC's Ricardo Austin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but João Massa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Marin Mihăileanu fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UFC STEAUA's protests and gave Marin Mihăileanu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, UFC STEAUA's Marin Mihăileanu got a free kick in the 55th minute. Jonatan Gelmiro got in the 56th minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of João Massa and thus it was 1-1. In the 63rdth minute of the game Tobias Maiorga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UFC STEAUA's João Massa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, UFC STEAUA's João Massa got control of the ball when Ricardo Austin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th minute, Angua FC's Ricardo Austin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind João Massa. João Massa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Federico Isias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelson Mendoza in the 74th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the game, UFC STEAUA's Therkild Prendorf nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Federico Isias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 85th minute, Mugur Basarabescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Massa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Austin, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After having played for 88 minutes, Tobias Maiorga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Angua FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tobias Maiorga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 89th minute, Ricardo Austin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
