Pinhote FC's Higino Pessoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lennart Nordmark in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Julin in the 17th minute of play forced Pinhote FC's goalkeeper Higino Pessoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Ståhlberg's late challenge caught a Pinhote FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Ståhlberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th minute, Adrian Ståhlberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute Pedro Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnny Eskilsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Svartengren in the 29th minute of play forced Pinhote FC's goalkeeper Higino Pessoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Pinhote FC's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Julin came free, but Higino Pessoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the game, Aaron Svartengren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Higino Pessoa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aaron Svartengren stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee ignored Peace Home Street Boys's protests and gave Lennart Nordmark a yellow card for diving instead. Lennart Nordmark hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Higino Pessoa came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Peace Home Street Boys's Aaron Svartengren. But to his dismay, Aaron Svartengren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aaron Svartengren got free with Higino Pessoa in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st minute Lennart Nordmark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higino Pessoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, Silvano Granja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th match minute, Pinhote FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Márcio Antas to maneuver through the defense. Charles Julin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Higino Pessoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Higino Pessoa made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Charles Julin sent off a good shot on target. The Peace Home Street Boys supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Peace Home Street Boys would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
