I.'s Paulo Txatxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ellsworth Lindsay in the 11th minute of play. Brice Leach was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 69 minutes into the match, Ermegildo Sotil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Brice Leach. Varennes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ermegildo Sotil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Aldo Erauso hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. I. protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alejo Admon had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 85th minute, one of Q. T. I.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Q. T. I.. The goalkeeper, Paulo Txatxu, was totally fooled by Varennes's Ellsworth Lindsay, who 88 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. A collision led to Q. T. I. getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Faustino Txerran hit a great ball. Paulo Txatxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ellsworth Lindsay in the 97th minute of play. Q. T. I. were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Varennes for a fine match.
