An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikos Malamas in the 24th minute of play forced Zielonka Gdansk's goalkeeper Mateusz Marchewka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Zielonka Gdansk booed when Saronida FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Minas Rodanakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Gilbert Marchewka fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zielonka Gdansk's protests and gave Gilbert Marchewka a yellow card for diving instead. Fondas Nebegleras in the 29thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mateusz Marchewka, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 31st minute, Robertas Lewandowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mateusz Marchewka made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Fondas Nebegleras sent off a good shot on target. Zielonka Gdansk's Mateusz Marchewka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Zielonka Gdansk from getting a goal against them. In the 35th minute, Nikos Malamas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fondas Nebegleras in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mateusz Marchewka prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Tobiasz Gdowik fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zielonka Gdansk's protests and gave Tobiasz Gdowik a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 played minutes Zielonka Gdansk got a freekick which was hit by Tobiasz Gdowik. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tobiasz Czempa made the kick off in the second half. In a very dangerous position, a player in Zielonka Gdansk fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Saronida FC a penalty, 56 minutes into the game. Fondas Nebegleras scored 6-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mateusz Marchewka, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Chrisostomos Balodimos might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mateusz Marchewka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chrisostomos Balodimos ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 78th minute, Panos Siafakas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mateusz Marchewka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chrisostomos Balodimos, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Mateusz Marchewka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fondas Nebegleras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fondas Nebegleras in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateusz Marchewka saved Zielonka Gdansk from getting behind.
