Flynn Downes scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredo Manso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rúben Alvarenga charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rúben Alvarenga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 8 played minutes Sabadim Harammes PRD got a freekick which was hit by Rúben Alvarenga. Alfredo Manso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mohamed Küdüs, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After 14 minutes of play Sabadim Harammes PRD's Rúben Alvarenga was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Sabadim Harammes PRD getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Rúben Alvarenga hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Flynn Downes got a free kick in the 18th minute. Mohamed Küdüs hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Alípio Freitas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomas Runeberg having to interfere. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Thomas Runeberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alípio Freitas in the 25th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sabadim Harammes PRD's zone, Christian Lundqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Manso came out of the goal and Christian Lundqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfredo Manso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mohamed Küdüs in the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alípio Freitas in the 31st minute of play forced Quetzal Flyers Hammers's goalkeeper Thomas Runeberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Sabadim Harammes PRD's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Lundqvist came free, but Alfredo Manso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Mohamed Küdüs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alípio Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Thomas Runeberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomas Runeberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alípio Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Palmiro Cordeiro made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Mohamed Küdüs made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfredo Manso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alcino França made in the 62nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Algot Ahlrot. If Palmiro Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Freddie Potts quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alcino França, made in the 67th minute of the game. Thomas Runeberg was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Palmiro Cordeiro capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Palmiro Cordeiro really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. Alfredo Manso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Lundqvist in the 84th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christian Lundqvist in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredo Manso saved Sabadim Harammes PRD from getting behind. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Christian Lundqvist sped through Sabadim Harammes PRD's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alfredo Manso. In the 87th match minute, Sabadim Harammes PRD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Candeias to maneuver through the defense. André Curado might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thomas Runeberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. André Curado ran back to his position shaking his head. Quetzal Flyers Hammers's Freddie Potts managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Alcino França in the 95 minute of the game. In the 97th minute, Christian Lundqvist made a precise shot to the right of Alfredo Manso. Sabadim Harammes PRD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Quetzal Flyers Hammers fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sabadim Harammes PRD had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
