Lázaro Haitz charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lázaro Haitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 12 played minutes Q. T. I. got a freekick which was hit by Lázaro Haitz. The supporters of Q. T. I. booed when Saronida FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Minas Rodanakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute Aldo Erauso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tasos Brizolakos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Txatxu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chrisostomos Balodimos in the 19th minute of the match. Paulo Txatxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chrisostomos Balodimos, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fondas Nebegleras in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Txatxu saved Q. T. I. from getting behind. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Fondas Nebegleras sped through Q. T. I.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Paulo Txatxu. With a little luck, Saronida FC's Tasos Brizolakos got control of the ball when Aldo Erauso tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 35th minute, Filomeno Aurken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Saronida FC booed when Q. T. I. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Haitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chrisostomos Balodimos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Aldo Erauso made the kick off in the second half. Tasos Brizolakos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Erauso, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Ntinos Mandalenakis hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Tasos Brizolakos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filomeno Aurken's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. If Chrisostomos Balodimos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saronida FC made a substitution. Markos Renieris replaced Nikos Malamas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Markos Renieris in the 60th minute of play forced Q. T. I.'s goalkeeper Paulo Txatxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 62 minutes Q. T. I.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nikos Loverdos who took care of the corner kick. Paulo Txatxu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thanasis Vasilopoulos's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. After 64 minutes, Thanasis Vasilopoulos made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Q. T. I.'s Paulo Txatxu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Saronida FC's Sotiris Pavlidis was substituted for Stamatis Agathakis. Paulo Txatxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fondas Nebegleras, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 75 minutes into the match, Q. T. I.'s goal looked a bit too open when Fondas Nebegleras came free, but Paulo Txatxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Markos Renieris took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Paulo Txatxu to make any attempt to save it. Chrisostomos Balodimos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Paulo Txatxu came out and tried to block the shot, but Chrisostomos Balodimos slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 81st minute. 85 minutes into the match, Saronida FC's Chrisostomos Balodimos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulo Txatxu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fondas Nebegleras in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Paulo Txatxu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The Saronida FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
