Łukasz Surma started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, The Irons Chorzów's Ludomil Niedbalski got control of the ball when Lubomír Forman tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Chorchoj's Jaroslav Mlejnek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwidon Popowicz in the 5th minute of play. If Michal Mikeska had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 7 minutes into the game, one of FC Chorchoj:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jaroslav Mlejnek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dawid Dresik, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Michal Mikeska sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the FC Chorchoj defense, Tobiasz Gozdowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jaroslav Mlejnek. The FC Chorchoj fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jaroslav Mlejnek should have stopped the shot. 26 minutes into the match, FC Chorchoj's goal looked a bit too open when Gwidon Popowicz came free, but Jaroslav Mlejnek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Radoslaw Kiewra hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Lubomír Forman kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After 32 played minutes, The Irons Chorzów's Klement Kasprzykowski shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jaroslav Mlejnek came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in The Irons Chorzów reached it. A collision led to The Irons Chorzów getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Gwidon Popowicz hit a great ball. Jaroslav Mlejnek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Łukasz Surma in the 35th minute of play. Dawid Dresik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Jaroslav Mlejnek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Otakar Šuráň made a kick off. With a little luck, FC Chorchoj's Jaroslav Mlejnek got control of the ball when Łukasz Surma tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dawid Dresik took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jaroslav Mlejnek. Jaroslav Mlejnek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 55th minute Dawid Dresik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaroslav Mlejnek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Chorchoj's Jaroslav Mlejnek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save FC Chorchoj from getting a goal against them. Ludomil Niedbalski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michal Mikeska in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th minute FC Chorchoj were awarded a corner. Lubomír Forman went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led FC Chorchoj's Lubomír Forman to fire away a dangerous shot which Ludomil Niedbalski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jaroslav Mlejnek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radoslaw Kiewra in the 78th minute. FC Chorchoj's Jaroslav Mlejnek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobiasz Gozdowski in the 80th minute of play. Michal Mikeska fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ludomil Niedbalski having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Aureliusz Nalaskowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute Otakar Šuráň shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludomil Niedbalski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The FC Chorchoj supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching The Irons Chorzów's performance. The match ended with a win for The Irons Chorzów.
