Spectators: 7677 (Terracing: 5864, Seating: 1797, VIP seats: 16) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jon Eklund made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the game, Axel Aronsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vänge IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Metalducks the free kick. After 3 played minutes Vänge IF got a freekick which was hit by Axel Aronsson. Jim Lindkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauro Otsoa in the 5th minute of play. With a little luck, Metalducks's Jim Lindkvist got control of the ball when Mauro Otsoa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mauro Otsoa got in the 10th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Jim Lindkvist handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Metalducks's goalkeeper Jim Lindkvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vänge IF were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Metalducks's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rune Aspengren took the corner. After taking down the ball on Vänge IF's corner Axel Aronsson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jim Lindkvist quite easily take care of the ball. Vänge IF's Ciriaco Hernando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jon Eklund in the 17th minute of play. The supporters of Metalducks booed when Vänge IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernani Vargas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute, Metalducks's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mauro Otsoa fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 24thth minute of the game Bruno Giordani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Metalducks's Jim Lindkvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mauro Otsoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jim Lindkvist having to interfere. Mauro Otsoa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jim Lindkvist read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. When Rune Aspengren fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vänge IF's protests and gave Rune Aspengren a yellow card for diving instead. In the 34th minute, Rune Aspengren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Otsoa in the 38th minute of play forced Metalducks's goalkeeper Jim Lindkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauro Otsoa got free with Jim Lindkvist in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vänge IF's Markus Albäck was substituted for Mauro Otsoa. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Vänge IF's Ciriaco Hernando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Vänge IF from getting a goal against them. 59 minutes into the match, Vänge IF's goalkeeper Ciriaco Hernando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Greger Skröder. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Markus Albäck in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jim Lindkvist saved Metalducks from getting behind. 64 minutes into the match, Markus Albäck notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Metalducks's Jim Lindkvist. Jim Lindkvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Metalducks's goalkeeper Jim Lindkvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 68 minutes had been played when some careless play by Metalducks's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Östen Olsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Vänge IF's players had a chance to rest. The audience was convinced that Bruno Giordani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jim Lindkvist was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. After 79 minutes Metalducks's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Östen Olsson who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Markus Albäck got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jim Lindkvist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Markus Albäck in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jim Lindkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 85 minutes into the match, Vänge IF's goal looked a bit too open when Tim Olsmann came free, but Ciriaco Hernando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Metalducks's zone, Bruno Giordani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jim Lindkvist came out of the goal and Bruno Giordani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ciriaco Hernando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tim Olsmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute of the match, Greger Skröder got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ciriaco Hernando was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Vänge IF's Ernani Vargas got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 98th minute, Greger Skröder made a precise shot to the right of Ciriaco Hernando. Vänge IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
