Spectators: 7695 (Terracing: 5772, Seating: 1770, VIP seats: 153) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jon Eklund took the kick off in the first half of the match. FC Steaua Pildesti's Isac Cozmâncă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jon Eklund in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the match, Metalducks's goalkeeper Jim Lindkvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Costin Iorgu. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Metalducks's goalkeeper Jim Lindkvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Filip Paulescu came free with the goalkeeper in the 7th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jim Lindkvist could save by the left post. Isac Cozmâncă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jon Eklund in the 8th minute of play. In the 8th match minute, FC Steaua Pildesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nichifor Vergulescu to maneuver through the defense. After 15 minutes of play, Metalducks's Jon Eklund made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isac Cozmâncă was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tim Olsmann hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Costin Iorgu in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jim Lindkvist, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 23 played minutes FC Steaua Pildesti got a freekick which was hit by Nichifor Vergulescu. In the 24th minute Jon Eklund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Cozmâncă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Jim Lindkvist managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when FC Steaua Pildesti's Costin Iorgu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Răzvan Petrescu kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC Steaua Pildesti defense, Mathias Alströmmer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isac Cozmâncă. The FC Steaua Pildesti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isac Cozmâncă should have stopped the shot. In the 37th minute, Mathias Alströmmer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Costin Iorgu notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Metalducks's Jim Lindkvist. Jim Lindkvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jon Eklund in the 47th minute of play forced FC Steaua Pildesti's goalkeeper Isac Cozmâncă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 49 minutes FC Steaua Pildesti's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mathias Alströmmer who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Mathias Alströmmer almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Steaua Pildesti's Isac Cozmâncă did a great save.

The wind increased when Costin Iorgu made the kick off in the second half. When FC Steaua Pildesti's Costin Iorgu in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Metalducks's goalie prevented a goal. In the 56th match minute, Metalducks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomas Biörling to maneuver through the defense. Jim Lindkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costin Iorgu in the 59th minute of the match. Jim Lindkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Costin Iorgu's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. In the 66th minute, Jon Eklund ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isac Cozmâncă was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in FC Steaua Pildesti's zone, Jon Eklund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isac Cozmâncă came out of the goal and Jon Eklund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jim Lindkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Paulescu in the 72nd minute of the match. Tim Olsmann's late challenge caught a FC Steaua Pildesti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tim Olsmann helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC Steaua Pildesti booed when Metalducks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tim Olsmann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jim Lindkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Costin Iorgu's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute Augustin Nechifor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jim Lindkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isac Cozmâncă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Greger Skröder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the game, Metalducks's Jon Eklund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isac Cozmâncă made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Jim Lindkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costin Iorgu in the 88th minute of play. After 89 minutes of play, FC Steaua Pildesti's Augustin Nechifor made it 3-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jim Lindkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! The FC Steaua Pildesti supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Metalducks's performance. The match ended with a win for Metalducks.
