The ball had pretty good speed, but Jens-Ove Mårtensson firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Jan-Ove Hansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute, Sören Mossberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

In the 52nd match minute, GreenSkar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peder Hääger to maneuver through the defense. 54 minutes into the game, Fred Persson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of José Munhoz. Fred Persson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Jan-Ove Hansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. José Munhoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jerônimo Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ove Mårtensson having to interfere. José Munhoz came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by GreenSkar FC's Jan-Ove Hansson. But to his dismay, Jan-Ove Hansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. José Munhoz made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Fred Persson sent off a good shot on target. Jan-Ove Hansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. José Munhoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leopoldo Linares hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute of the match, Jan-Ove Hansson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but José Munhoz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 85th minute, Fred Persson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of José Munhoz. The goal made the score 2-4. If Fred Persson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anacleto Lluciano hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The GreenSkar FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing GreenSkar FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
