The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karol Biskupiak to maneuver through the defense. Witold Majkowski took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferdinand Serneels. Ferdinand Serneels dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 14 minutes into the game, Karol Biskupiak cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Ferdinand Serneels was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ferdinand Serneels showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Trac, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Damian Trac took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ferdinand Serneels. Ferdinand Serneels dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After 23 minutes of play, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Witold Majkowski made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferdinand Serneels was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Etienne Anteunis during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 28 played minutes The Original Wonderteam got a freekick which was hit by Etienne Anteunis. After some careless play in the The Original Wonderteam defense, Damian Trac kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ferdinand Serneels. The The Original Wonderteam fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferdinand Serneels should have stopped the shot. Ferdinand Serneels came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Damian Trac. But to his dismay, Damian Trac quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. In the 35th minute Witold Majkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Serneels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferdinand Serneels made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaroslaw Nigbor in the 37th minute of play. After some careless play in the The Original Wonderteam defense, Witold Majkowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ferdinand Serneels. Ferdinand Serneels made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10.
The audience thought a goal was coming when Damian Trac got free with Ferdinand Serneels in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 53rd minute, Rocky Breugelmans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ferdinand Serneels took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Trac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferdinand Serneels didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Witold Majkowski shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-11 in the ordered_time% minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Damian Trac kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ferdinand Serneels. That made the score 0-12 in the 59 minute of play. The Zagłębie Dąbrowskie fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Damian Trac looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-13 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ferdinand Serneels didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damian Trac went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-15 was the resulting score. 74 minutes into the match, Witold Majkowski notched a goal, 0-16, to the right of The Original Wonderteam's Ferdinand Serneels. Ferdinand Serneels was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 77 minutes into the match, The Original Wonderteam's goalkeeper Ferdinand Serneels had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Witold Majkowski. In the 79th minute Damian Trac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Serneels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Witold Majkowski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ferdinand Serneels made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-17. Dimitry Meys helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to The Original Wonderteam getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Dimitry Meys hit a great ball. Witold Majkowski in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ferdinand Serneels, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the final whistle sounded Zagłębie Dąbrowskie left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than The Original Wonderteam.
