Célio Pena was slow to take the kick. During this time Castanheiro SC's players had a chance to rest. In the 38th minute, Leonardo Trancoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedrinho Guimarães came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by 1863 Boğaziçi Revizyon's Rafa de Brito. But to his dismay, Rafa de Brito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ye Lei Lang kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. 1863 Boğaziçi Revizyon's Cihangir İshak was substituted for Yavuzalp Öktuna. In the 48th match minute, 1863 Boğaziçi Revizyon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ye Lei Lang to maneuver through the defense. After the first half 1863 Boğaziçi Revizyon were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 87th match minute, Castanheiro SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitório Mineiro to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Castanheiro SC's zone, Mehmet Bedri Demirkan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedrinho Guimarães came out of the goal and Mehmet Bedri Demirkan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Hüsmen Çerağ came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the 1863 Boğaziçi Revizyon fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hüsmen Çerağ couldn't finish the play. After 97 played minutes 1863 Boğaziçi Revizyon got a freekick which was hit by Yiğit Başer. 1863 Boğaziçi Revizyon's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
