An unexpectedly hard shot by Pipat Higuaín in the 4th minute of play forced FC Luck's goalkeeper Nicu Mincu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pipat Higuaín blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicu Mincu having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narcis Ţipirig got free with Lemmy Stecher in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Werner Mazur in the 21st minute of play forced FC Luck's goalkeeper Nicu Mincu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Marcus Willmann took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Nicu Mincu to make any attempt to save it. 56 minutes into the match, Narcis Ţipirig notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's Lemmy Stecher. Lemmy Stecher was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 66 minutes into the match, Eduard Mutu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lemmy Stecher. 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduard Mutu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Lemmy Stecher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narcis Ţipirig, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 73rd match minute, 1.FC Aufbau-Einsturz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herman Olsson to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the match, FC Luck's goalkeeper Nicu Mincu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pipat Higuaín. Silviu Hrandabur kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 79th match minute, FC Luck was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niculae Scutaru to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FC Luck getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Eduard Mutu hit a great ball. Nicu Mincu made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Marcus Willmann sent off a good shot on target. Nicu Mincu made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Pipat Higuaín sent off a good shot on target. Nicu Mincu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcus Willmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicu Mincu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Willmann in the 93rd minute of play. FC Luck's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
