Gerasimos Vasilarakos might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reynaldo Rameriz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerasimos Vasilarakos ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of DON RAMON 72 booed when GREEN LIONS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kostas Vakaros didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14thth minute of the game Filippos Kopelis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DON RAMON 72's Reynaldo Rameriz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Silvano Harkaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Rod Stewart's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vaggelis Pantelidis was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Demis Laggizos in the 53rd minute of play forced DON RAMON 72's goalkeeper Reynaldo Rameriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Domingos Gervaso's shot from long distance in the 93rd minute was not bad at all, but GREEN LIONS's Vaggelis Pantelidis knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. GREEN LIONS were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of DON RAMON 72 for a fine match.
