After 15 minutes, Patrik Cane mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sport Lisboa e Benfica and the Plaza Jewell players grew even worse after the yellow card. Saul Mannuel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antoine Norton's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Antoine Norton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saul Mannuel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Antoine Norton dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Saul Mannuel, 2-0. 23 minutes into the match, Sport Lisboa e Benfica's goal looked a bit too open when Tiburcio Seber came free, but Emanuel Bazinet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Narciso Matro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Bazinet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Plaza Jewell's Saul Mannuel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre Leclerc in the 95th minute of play. Sport Lisboa e Benfica's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
