With a little luck, Sagarana Clube's Dráuzio Arantes got control of the ball when Ali Yılmaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cornelio Nardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hudson Albuquerque in the 5th minute of the match. Valdemar Leite might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cornelio Nardo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valdemar Leite ran back to his position shaking his head. Valdemar Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Sagarana Clube's Paulo Renato Ferreira got a free kick in the 11th minute. If Cafu Filho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cafu Filho in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cornelio Nardo saved Gep FC from getting behind. Ali Yılmaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Dráuzio Arantes made a huge save. If Valdemar Leite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sagarana Clube's Dráuzio Arantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Müller in the 33rd minute of play. Cornelio Nardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hudson Albuquerque in the 36th minute of play. In the 38thth minute of the game Antonello Bartolomucci who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sagarana Clube's Dráuzio Arantes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 41st minute Hudson Albuquerque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Nardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Ali Yılmaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gep FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Yılmaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dráuzio Arantes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Thanks to some nice moves Cafu Filho could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Cornelio Nardo however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Müller in the 61st minute of play forced Sagarana Clube's goalkeeper Dráuzio Arantes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hudson Albuquerque blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cornelio Nardo having to make a save. Dráuzio Arantes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antonello Bartolomucci went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Dráuzio Arantes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Müller, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Dráuzio Arantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonello Bartolomucci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th minute, Ali Yılmaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gep FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
