In the 28th minute Frederico Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Fracassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Lunatics of Arianrhod getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Ettore Amadei hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cafu Filho got free with Adriano Fracassi in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sagarana Clube's Dráuzio Arantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ettore Corvi in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute Ettore Corvi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráuzio Arantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Lunatics of Arianrhod's Amerigo Melucci ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dráuzio Arantes. Dráuzio Arantes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Alex Marcelli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dráuzio Arantes having to make a save. In the 91st minute, Vinícius Lott hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 96 minutes into the match, Ettore Amadei notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Sagarana Clube's Dráuzio Arantes. Dráuzio Arantes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lunatics of Arianrhod walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
