The referee ignored Lunatics of Arianrhod's protests and gave Carter Basilico a yellow card for diving instead. Carter Basilico hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. A collision led to Lunatics of Arianrhod getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ettore Amadei hit a great ball. Cornelio Nardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ettore Amadei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Justino Isaio kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After having played for 24 minutes, Rosendo Mincho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gep FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rosendo Mincho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Bianco Di Paola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gep FC's Ali Yılmaz got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 38 played minutes Lunatics of Arianrhod got a freekick which was hit by Ettore Amadei. The supporters of Gep FC booed when Lunatics of Arianrhod was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ettore Amadei didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Lunatics of Arianrhod's goalkeeper Adriano Fracassi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ali Yılmaz. The attack was good, but when Ali Yılmaz in the 41st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. During the 45th minute of the match Carter Basilico completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Carter Basilico a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 46th minute, Carter Basilico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lunatics of Arianrhod made a substitution. Elia Liaci replaced Davide Onori. In the 49th match minute, Gep FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristobal Silbestre to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ali Yılmaz was the one to do the kick off. If Ettore Amadei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cornelio Nardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ettore Amadei in the 59th minute of play. The corner ended in Felice Paolini almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gep FC's Cornelio Nardo did a great save. In the 64th minute, Ali Yılmaz made a precise shot to the right of Adriano Fracassi. Lunatics of Arianrhod's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Cornelio Nardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elia Liaci in the 68th minute. Lunatics of Arianrhod's Adriano Fracassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonello Bartolomucci in the 80th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Antonello Bartolomucci ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adriano Fracassi was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Müller in the 87th minute of play forced Lunatics of Arianrhod's goalkeeper Adriano Fracassi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adriano Fracassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Müller, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Lunatics of Arianrhod's Adriano Fracassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Müller in the 99th minute of play.
