After 5 played minutes Szajk LC got a freekick which was hit by Dávid Benkó. 6 minutes into the match, Szajk LC's goal looked a bit too open when Yavuz Acabay came free, but Özdemir Babayiğit reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute Lajos Szuper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lv Zhen Li saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 11 played minutes Yala got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Lore. 13 minutes into the match, Yala's Niki Bundev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Özdemir Babayiğit narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Özdemir Babayiğit came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Yala's Niki Bundev. But to his dismay, Niki Bundev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Özdemir Babayiğit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yavuz Acabay, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Szajk LC's Özdemir Babayiğit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yavuz Acabay in the 19th minute of play. Özdemir Babayiğit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yavuz Acabay in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Armando Ritchie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 28 played minutes Yala got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Lore. After some careless play in the Szajk LC defense, Yavuz Acabay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Özdemir Babayiğit. The Szajk LC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Özdemir Babayiğit should have stopped the shot. Lv Zhen Li made an important save on a dangerous shot by Miklós Bogdán in the 37th minute. When György Schwarzenberg fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Szajk LC's protests and gave György Schwarzenberg a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Szajk LC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! The Szajk LC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Yala were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lajos Szuper to make the kick off. Yala's Niki Bundev was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 55th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Szajk LC's Özdemir Babayiğit proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Szajk LC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niki Bundev got free with Özdemir Babayiğit in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 72 minutes of play, Yala's Niki Bundev made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Özdemir Babayiğit was left in no man's land by his defense there! Szajk LC's Sámuel Kádár was substituted for Lajos Szuper. Szajk LC's Özdemir Babayiğit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yavuz Acabay in the 78th minute of play. Esteve Abechuco's late challenge caught a Szajk LC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esteve Abechuco helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th minute, Esteve Abechuco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Özdemir Babayiğit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yavuz Acabay, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Niki Bundev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Özdemir Babayiğit having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Szajk LC's Sámuel Kádár got a free kick in the 86th minute. Özdemir Babayiğit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yavuz Acabay, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yavuz Acabay got free with Özdemir Babayiğit in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 90 minutes into the match, Yala's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Lángara came free, but Lv Zhen Li reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Yala eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
