After some careless play in the Izaltina FAD defense, Santiago Bakar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dráusio Oliveira. The Izaltina FAD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dráusio Oliveira should have stopped the shot. Angel Vasco kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Dráusio Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iván Leguizamón, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The audience was convinced that Iván Leguizamón's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dráusio Oliveira was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristóvão Paranaense to strike the kick off in the second half.
