The audience thought a goal was coming when Timoteo Peru got free with Rubinho Couto in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 7 in the game by Timoteo Peru from a close distance when the talented Rubinho Couto managed to make a qualified save. Leões do Sul 53's players were relieved. After 7 played minutes Berutti FC got a freekick which was hit by Santo Amor. After a defensive mix-up in Leões do Sul 53's zone, Timoteo Peru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rubinho Couto came out of the goal and Timoteo Peru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leões do Sul 53's goalkeeper Rubinho Couto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rubinho Couto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Timoteo Peru's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. After 40 played minutes Berutti FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernan Eriz. Joaquim Pernambucano hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Timoteo Peru in the 43rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rubinho Couto, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Fernan Eriz fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Berutti FC's protests and gave Fernan Eriz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 45th minute, Fernan Eriz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Timoteo Peru to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Leões do Sul 53's goal looked a bit too open when Timoteo Peru came free, but Rubinho Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rubinho Couto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timoteo Peru in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Timoteo Peru notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Leões do Sul 53's Rubinho Couto. Rubinho Couto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Cheche in the 70th minute of play forced Leões do Sul 53's goalkeeper Rubinho Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Paulo Brodel's late challenge caught a Berutti FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedro Paulo Brodel helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st minute, Pedro Paulo Brodel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Timoteo Peru in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rubinho Couto saved Leões do Sul 53 from getting behind. Orlando Mouricio kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute Joaquim Pernambucano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Wenerdahl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timoteo Peru scored 2-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rubinho Couto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Severo Benvido kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 82nd minute of the match Cauan Negri sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mark Wenerdahl skillfully saved the ball. Rubinho Couto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timoteo Peru, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Berutti FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
