No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

With his leg Arthur Bufi managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Izaltina FAD's Neymar Santos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Izaltina FAD's Neymar Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 87 played minutes Izaltina FAD got a freekick which was hit by Bernardo Correia. In the 87th minute Ye Hong Shi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rony de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristi Saron during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 91 played minutes Cruzeiro Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Cristi Saron. Izaltina FAD's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
