In the 5th match minute, De Ontembare Leeuwen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacco Hoving to maneuver through the defense. Heiko Som showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Pernambucano in the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Boudewijn van Galen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Chabanenko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubinho Couto having to interfere. Rubinho Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Chabanenko in the 14th minute of the match. With his leg Rubinho Couto managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when De Ontembare Leeuwen's Võ Tấn Dũng fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rubinho Couto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Chabanenko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Heiko Som made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Pernambucano in the 26th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mitchell Terpstra during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 30 played minutes De Ontembare Leeuwen got a freekick which was hit by Mitchell Terpstra. De Ontembare Leeuwen's Heiko Som played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Pernambucano in the 32nd minute of play. Võ Tấn Dũng made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 33rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Rubinho Couto would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. De Ontembare Leeuwen's Raymond Heersprink was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rubinho Couto in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mitchell Terpstra kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Joaquim Pernambucano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Heiko Som was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Boudewijn van Galen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rubinho Couto having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquim Pernambucano in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Heiko Som prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56th minute David Vides shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heiko Som saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dinei Amaral during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dinei Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. If Ivan Chabanenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Võ Tấn Dũng took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rubinho Couto. Rubinho Couto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 75 minutes, Võ Tấn Dũng made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Leões do Sul 53's Rubinho Couto tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Võ Tấn Dũng in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rubinho Couto saved Leões do Sul 53 from getting behind. The supporters of De Ontembare Leeuwen booed when Leões do Sul 53 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natanael de Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. De Ontembare Leeuwen were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
