Spectators: 7719 (Terracing: 5790, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 154) Jorge Vicente Squella started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Dan Stelaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Manuel Cozorici came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Cozorici couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Cozorici in the 6th minute of play forced General Velásquez's goalkeeper Rolf Holmgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Pavel Iacob quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Teofan Bozadzhiyski, made in the 9th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Dan Stelaru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolf Holmgren was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Vlad Voican was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Victoriano Paillemil capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Victoriano Paillemil really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 23 minutes into the match, General Velásquez's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Stelaru came free, but Rolf Holmgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dan Stelaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Rolf Holmgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vlad Voican took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Paillemil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Teofan Bozadzhiyski got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vlad Voican quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Rolf Holmgren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Cozorici in the 35th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 51st minute of the match, Manuel Cozorici tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rolf Holmgren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Vlad Voican made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Paillemil in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Vicente Squella came free, but Vlad Voican reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's attentive Pavel Iacob managed to snatch the ball when Teofan Bozadzhiyski made a throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game. After 74 played minutes MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV got a freekick which was hit by Nicolae Panciu. Rolf Holmgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Stelaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Dan Stelaru's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Rolf Holmgren skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 82 minutes of play, General Velásquez's Jorge Vicente Squella made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vlad Voican was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vlad Voican showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Vicente Squella in the 92nd minute of the match.
