Spectators: 7008 (Terracing: 5749, Seating: 1106, VIP seats: 153) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arne Björklund took the kick off in the first half of the match. Hal Cortez was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 8 minutes into the match. After 7 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Deportivo Rodriguez! Hardas Bat kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Sixten Sundberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tony Joyce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arne Björklund in the 27th minute of play. Arne Björklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Daniel Abrahamsson hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The supporters of Deportivo Rodriguez booed when JKs Talanger was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Abrahamsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Deportivo Rodriguez getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Jason Douglas hit a great ball. Tony Joyce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arne Björklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jason Douglas to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, JKs Talanger's Hardas Bat ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tony Joyce. Tony Joyce yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Malcolm Kruuse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jason Douglas in the 61st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arne Björklund in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tony Joyce saved Deportivo Rodriguez from getting behind. Pedro Pedro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to JKs Talanger getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Viktor Nilsson hit a great ball. Malcolm Kruuse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Rodriguez in the 69th minute of play. Malcolm Kruuse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Pedro, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. A collision led to JKs Talanger getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Viktor Nilsson hit a great ball. In the 77th match minute, Deportivo Rodriguez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Pedro to maneuver through the defense. After 86 minutes of play, JKs Talanger's Arne Björklund made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tony Joyce was left in no man's land by his defense there! The JKs Talanger supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing JKs Talanger would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
