After a rather tough play, Fc Meremõisa's Ander Vooro got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Vahur Aav showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolf Rogov, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ander Vooro in the 40th minute of play forced Феникс Санкт-Петербург's goalkeeper Qiu Zheng Ning to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Virgo Ülisoo got free with Qiu Zheng Ning in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Virgo Ülisoo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Qiu Zheng Ning came out and tried to block the shot, but Virgo Ülisoo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 68th minute. Qiu Zheng Ning made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Virgo Ülisoo sent off a good shot on target. 72 minutes into the match, Феникс Санкт-Петербург's goal looked a bit too open when Virgo Ülisoo came free, but Qiu Zheng Ning reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Madis Rändkivi struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Qiu Zheng Ning didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Meremõisa. A collision led to Феникс Санкт-Петербург getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Sergey Kachalov hit a great ball. The supporters of Fc Meremõisa booed when Феникс Санкт-Петербург was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolf Rogov didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sergey Kachalov kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Ander Vooro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Qiu Zheng Ning tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Virgo Ülisoo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Qiu Zheng Ning was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Qiu Zheng Ning made an important save on a dangerous shot by Virgo Ülisoo in the 84th minute. Qiu Zheng Ning showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgo Ülisoo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Феникс Санкт-Петербург's zone, Virgo Ülisoo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Qiu Zheng Ning came out of the goal and Virgo Ülisoo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute, Fc Meremõisa's Kristjan Helemäe dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. The Fc Meremõisa players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
