Crişan Taffarel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edward Brodzki in the 44th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Dario Benedetto made the kick off in the second half. Sofyan Parzulaev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Edward Brodzki might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Crişan Taffarel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Brodzki ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 93rd minute Sofyan Parzulaev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Crişan Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dario Benedetto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Luca Parzulaev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciclista FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
