In the 23rd minute Nicolas Irrintzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Crişan Taffarel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Rigoberto Flores hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felipe Euloxu charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felipe Euloxu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th match minute, Acratas Unidos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Euloxu to maneuver through the defense. Arnulfo Ignatius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Benedetto, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicolas Irrintzi to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Acratas Unidos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Euloxu to maneuver through the defense. Cenan Savlet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dario Benedetto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnulfo Ignatius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Ciclista FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Acratas Unidos the free kick. After a rather tough play, Ciclista FC's Dario Benedetto got a free kick in the 87th minute. Teofilo Lorencio kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Rigoberto Flores recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Acratas Unidos's Arnulfo Ignatius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cenan Savlet in the 96th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Acratas Unidos had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
