In the 5th minute of the match, Felix Pascua tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcelino Merexildo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Joel Caton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Berni Bengi, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute Eliseo Thomas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Caton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Berni y Benja FC's Marcelino Merexildo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Berni y Benja FC from getting a goal against them. Joel Caton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Thomas in the 22nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabricio Vedeja got free with Marcelino Merexildo in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 29 played minutes Berni y Benja FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Esdras. Joel Caton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Thomas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, Berni y Benja FC's goal looked a bit too open when Felix Pascua came free, but Marcelino Merexildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelino Merexildo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alonzo Gipils, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Berni Bengi kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Fabricio Vedeja dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcelino Merexildo, 1-1. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonathan Atarrabi to make the kick off. With a little luck, Loja S.C.'s Joel Caton got control of the ball when Jonathan Atarrabi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcelino Merexildo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Peres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelino Merexildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Pascua in the 58th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Berni y Benja FC's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Peres came free, but Marcelino Merexildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Peres in the 59th minute of play forced Berni y Benja FC's goalkeeper Marcelino Merexildo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Berni y Benja FC's Eulalio Indalecio got a free kick in the 79th minute. 84 minutes into the game, Victor Peres cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Marcelino Merexildo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Joel Caton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berni Bengi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
