After a rather tough play, Szittyák SE rege's Jeromos Balogh got a free kick in the 27th minute. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Mats McNamara sped through Szittyák SE rege's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Péter Temesvári. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dávid Fenyvesi in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henning Berglund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Wyoming Cowboys getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Rodney Huston hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Szittyák SE rege's Marcell Bodnár got a free kick in the 39th minute. After 40 played minutes Szittyák SE rege got a freekick which was hit by Bendegúz Bolla. Patrik Radnai struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Henning Berglund didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Szittyák SE rege. In the 45th minute, Richárd Gere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patrik Radnai to make the kick off.
