An unexpectedly hard shot by Hilario Sal in the 13th minute of play forced MarineerS FK's goalkeeper Erenay Barkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erenay Barkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilario Sal in the 16th minute of play. Erenay Barkan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hilario Sal went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Hilario Sal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. MarineerS FK's Erenay Barkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Javiar in the 24th minute of play. Erenay Barkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Tola in the 26th minute of play. After 27 minutes of play, Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's Bonifacio Javiar made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Erenay Barkan was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonny Ambjörnsson in the 35th minute of play forced Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's goalkeeper Fabio Diez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saturnino Pinto hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The long shot by Jonny Ambjörnsson in the 37th minute really tested Fabio Diez's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 41st minute Jonny Ambjörnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Diez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabio Diez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonny Ambjörnsson went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Tola in the 47th minute of play forced MarineerS FK's goalkeeper Erenay Barkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 49 minutes MarineerS FK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hilario Sal who took care of the corner kick. It was a well-played corner which Zé Tola managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zé Tola made a kick off. MarineerS FK's Erenay Barkan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save MarineerS FK from getting a goal against them. Zé Tola was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 55th minute. Olimpo de Bahia Blanca's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Fabio Diez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alpertunga Korcan in the 57th minute of the match. Fabio Diez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sancarbey Çakıroğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Jonny Ambjörnsson hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. A collision led to Olimpo de Bahia Blanca getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Amancio Orlandus hit a great ball. Menderes Ünaldi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabio Diez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind MarineerS FK's goalkeeper Erenay Barkan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 70th minute Sancarbey Çakıroğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Diez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Olimpo de Bahia Blanca booed when MarineerS FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yenal Okdemir didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the game, MarineerS FK's Sancarbey Çakıroğlu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabio Diez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Fabio Diez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonny Ambjörnsson in the 86th minute of play.
