The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Severiano Enekoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lα Sυв 21's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severiano Enekoitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Severiano Enekoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Fabrizio De Feo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Enekoitz in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute Kong Bo Ning shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ernesto Merexildo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabrizio De Feo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Enekoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute Severiano Enekoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrizio De Feo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Enekoitz in the 23rd minute of play forced ASD Real Molinella 1911's goalkeeper Fabrizio De Feo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Lα Sυв 21 getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jaime Isauro hit a great ball. When Severiano Enekoitz came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Lα Sυв 21 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severiano Enekoitz couldn't finish the play. Fabrizio De Feo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Severiano Enekoitz in the 31st minute. In the 34th minute, Luo Feng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabrizio De Feo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Enekoitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Lα Sυв 21's Rolando Orti to fire away a dangerous shot which Fabrizio De Feo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Lα Sυв 21's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Jonas came free, but Ernesto Merexildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severiano Enekoitz to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Ernesto Merexildo managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when ASD Real Molinella 1911's Domenico Alati fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Severiano Enekoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fabrizio De Feo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Enekoitz in the 66th minute of play. Lα Sυв 21's Fulgencio Bidari was substituted for Rolando Orti. Lα Sυв 21 were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after ASD Real Molinella 1911's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cirilo Fe took the corner. After taking down the ball on Lα Sυв 21's corner Cirilo Fe fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fabrizio De Feo quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Lα Sυв 21 getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Leopoldo Gonza hit a great ball. After 74 played minutes, ASD Real Molinella 1911's Ermanno Clemente shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ernesto Merexildo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ASD Real Molinella 1911 reached it. Fulgencio Bidari might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabrizio De Feo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fulgencio Bidari ran back to his position shaking his head. Domenico Alati recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the ASD Real Molinella 1911 defense, Pablo Vegetti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabrizio De Feo. The ASD Real Molinella 1911 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabrizio De Feo should have stopped the shot. Ernesto Merexildo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kong Bo Ning in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 95thth minute of the game Pablo Vegetti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ASD Real Molinella 1911's Fabrizio De Feo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fabrizio De Feo came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Lα Sυв 21's Pablo Vegetti. But to his dismay, Pablo Vegetti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0.
