In the 4th minute Rodrigo de Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristian Lorien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremias Gaueko in the 5th minute of play forced Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s goalkeeper João Vítor Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Gaueko came free, but João Vítor Arósio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrigo de Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th match minute, Sacro Balompié was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Gaueko to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s goalkeeper João Vítor Arósio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mané Lago. Cristian Lorien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Du Song Lin, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After 20 played minutes Sacro Balompié got a freekick which was hit by Mané Lago. Jeremias Gaueko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but João Vítor Arósio made a huge save. In the 37th minute, Du Song Lin made a precise shot to the right of Cristian Lorien. Sacro Balompié's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 42 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sacro Balompié's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Frédson Furtado was slow to take the kick. During this time Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner led Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Frédson Furtado to fire away a dangerous shot which Cristian Lorien despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 46 minutes of play, Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Du Song Lin made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristian Lorien was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rodrigo de Castro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frédson Furtado in the 55th minute. Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Du Song Lin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cristian Lorien in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With his leg Cristian Lorien managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Du Song Lin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cristian Lorien came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Du Song Lin. But to his dismay, Du Song Lin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Milan da Freguesia F.C. made a substitution. Caio Boldrini replaced Rodrigo de Castro. Sacro Balompié's Teobaldo Bernal was substituted for Jeremias Gaueko. João Vítor Arósio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Peto in the 69th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s Cristian Lorien threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Frédson Furtado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rafael Veiga might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristian Lorien. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafael Veiga ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 76th minute, Teobaldo Bernal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sacro Balompié's Cristian Lorien proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Sacro Balompié from getting a goal against them. João Vítor Arósio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Apolo Peto in the 79th minute of play. Cristian Lorien took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chicão Meirelles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Frédson Furtado in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Peto in the 82nd minute of play forced Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s goalkeeper João Vítor Arósio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85th minute, Gervasio Lidon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sacro Balompié fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. After 88 played minutes Milan da Freguesia F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Chicão Meirelles. João Vítor Arósio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervasio Lidon in the 96th minute of the match. Milan da Freguesia F.C. were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Sacro Balompié's much stronger midfield.
