Raimundo Joinvilense thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Li Lin, a very annoying self made goal in the 16th minute which led to 1-0. 19 minutes into the match, Wiktor Kjellqvist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of João Vítor Arósio. Milan da Freguesia F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wiktor Kjellqvist was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 23 minutes of play, Moose Knuckles's Sonic Ball made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Moose Knuckles's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Frédson Furtado ran over to the corner to take the kick. When Rafael Veiga came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Milan da Freguesia F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Veiga couldn't finish the play. When the final whistle sounded Moose Knuckles left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Milan da Freguesia F.C..
