The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 9 minutes into the match, Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s goal looked a bit too open when Ralf Fransson came free, but Ernest Ştati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hasta Alfonso in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ernest Ştati prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 15 minutes, Călin Cotoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Călin Cotoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 17 minutes into the game, Hasta Alfonso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ernest Ştati was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 20 minutes, Costică Brânzaș managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Costică Brânzaș was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Glentown FC's goal looked a bit too open when Costică Brânzaș came free, but Olov Ahlquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicodim Zogreanu to maneuver through the defense. Costică Brânzaș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Glentown FC's Olov Ahlquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sorin Lipan in the 37th minute of play. Adam Bratiloveanu made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Glentown FC's Mister Nudel. Olov Ahlquist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sorin Lipan, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Glentown FC's goalkeeper Olov Ahlquist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dacian Burnei in the 44th minute. A nice corner shot did that Dacian Burnei got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Olov Ahlquist quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ernest Ştati took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hasta Alfonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hasta Alfonso made a kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s goalkeeper Ernest Ştati, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ booed when Glentown FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralf Fransson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernest Ştati came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Glentown FC's Hasta Alfonso. But to his dismay, Hasta Alfonso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Hasta Alfonso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernest Ştati read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Glentown FC made a substitution. Jonatan Aspvik replaced Hasta Alfonso. Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ made a substitution. Ion Iftodi replaced Costică Brânzaș. Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ made a substitution. Basarab Rareș replaced Adam Bratiloveanu. Glentown FC's Mister Nudel quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Basarab Rareș, made in the 74th minute of the game. 74 minutes into the match, Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Aspvik came free, but Ernest Ştati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ralf Fransson scored 3-1 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ernest Ştati, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Jonatan Aspvik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ionuț Nicolescu fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★'s protests and gave Ionuț Nicolescu a yellow card for diving instead. After 85 played minutes Filpea Hotspur ★Dac★ got a freekick which was hit by Ionuț Nicolescu. Ernest Ştati took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralf Fransson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernest Ştati didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonatan Aspvik went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. 91 minutes into the match, Glentown FC's Jonatan Aspvik sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ernest Ştati narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Basarab Rareș's late challenge caught a Glentown FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Basarab Rareș helped the player get up and apologised. Glentown FC's Krister Wästerberg was substituted for Otto Stenqvist. Glentown FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
