Sören Malmberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 6th minute Bogdan Bogdanović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnni Kirkskov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dumitru Tutorskiy's late challenge caught a Club 23's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dumitru Tutorskiy helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th minute, Cássio Dracena made a precise shot to the right of Johnni Kirkskov. BK Skjold's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Genaro Procopio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Sören Malmberg made a huge save. Johnni Kirkskov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bogdan Bogdanović in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of BK Skjold booed when Club 23 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Bogdanović didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Cássio Dracena made a precise shot to the right of Johnni Kirkskov. BK Skjold's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 48th minute Cássio Dracena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johnni Kirkskov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Club 23 were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Club 23's Sören Malmberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Eduino in the 51st minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, BK Skjold's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Dracena came free, but Johnni Kirkskov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jose Eduino in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sören Malmberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 68 minutes into the match, BK Skjold's goalkeeper Johnni Kirkskov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cássio Dracena. In the 69th minute of the match Club 23 got a corner. BK Skjold's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dacian Săraru ran over to the corner to take the kick. 72 minutes into the match, BK Skjold's goal looked a bit too open when Cássio Dracena came free, but Johnni Kirkskov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club 23's Sören Malmberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genaro Procopio in the 75th minute of play. Sören Malmberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Genaro Procopio went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 80th match minute, BK Skjold was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicko Vadmann to maneuver through the defense. In the 87thth minute of the game Cássio Dracena who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BK Skjold's Johnni Kirkskov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 91 played minutes Club 23 got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Robescu. BK Skjold's Apolo Vela was substituted for Casimiro Gines. In the 92nd match minute, Club 23 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Robescu to maneuver through the defense. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
