The audience thought a goal was coming when Alois Horák got free with Maximo Godoy in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 6th minute of the match Lex Academy got a corner. New Pi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Josef Kožíšek ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Lex Academy's Josef Kožíšek to fire away a dangerous shot which Maximo Godoy despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Alois Horák took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Maximo Godoy to make any attempt to save it. Alois Horák's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Maximo Godoy skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Fabian Benvido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Goito in the 16th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes Lex Academy got a freekick which was hit by Rudolf Loskot. 21 minutes into the match, New Pi's goalkeeper Maximo Godoy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alois Horák. Lex Academy's Alois Horák got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alois Horák struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Maximo Godoy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lex Academy. With a little luck, New Pi's Maximo Godoy got control of the ball when Alois Horák tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Goito in the 32nd minute of play forced Lex Academy's goalkeeper Fabian Benvido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Alois Horák dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Maximo Godoy, 2-0. Jorge Osorio might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fabian Benvido. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorge Osorio ran back to his position shaking his head.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alois Horák was the one to do the kick off. Jakub Vlk made in the 52nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by New Pi's Fabio Frisco. A sloppy throw-in by Fabio Frisco in the 53rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Lex Academy's Michal Jung. New Pi made a substitution. Set Fernando replaced Generoso Artizar. New Pi's attentive Fabio Frisco managed to snatch the ball when Jakub Vlk made a throw-in in the 70th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Lex Academy's Florentino Jamilio got a free kick in the 70th minute. Alois Horák recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Lex Academy's Rudolf Loskot got a free kick in the 86th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Fabio Frisco in the 88th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Lex Academy's Jakub Vlk. Fabian Benvido was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Jorge Osorio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jorge Osorio really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1.
