The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. M. Dedy Oddang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Deen Castronovo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th minute, Dewa Laut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dewa Laut kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. The supporters of Begu Ganjang booed when Ogro F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 49 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clive Burr didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Deen Castronovo made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Dewa Sundal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Paulo Penha was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Ogro F.C.'s Pedro Paulo Penha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Ogro F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 67th minute Begu Ganjang were awarded a corner. Aang Krishna went to the cornerflag to take it. Begu Ganjang's Aang Krishna was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pedro Paulo Penha in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Kelik Samiaji came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Begu Ganjang fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kelik Samiaji couldn't finish the play. Begu Ganjang's Didiet Sujarwo was substituted for Dewa Sundal. Begu Ganjang's M. Dedy Oddang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clive Burr in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Didiet Sujarwo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pedro Paulo Penha, 1-1. The supporters of Ogro F.C. booed when Begu Ganjang was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Butet Panjaitan didn't get a good kick on the ball.
