To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcelo Goito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but 洪广荣 made a huge save. Marcelo Goito's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 11thth minute, 洪广荣 skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 13 minutes into the match, Marcelo Goito dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of 洪广荣, 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelo Goito in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 洪广荣 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Marcelo Goito took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for 洪广荣 to make any attempt to save it. 29 minutes into the match, New Pi's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Bernabel came free, but Maximo Godoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute, Jorge Osorio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. New Pi's Maximo Godoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Epifanio Bernabel in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 蒋益朋 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Timoteo Medina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Godoy having to interfere. Marcelo Goito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Epifanio Bernabel kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
