In the 6th minute Marcelo Goito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Paulo Penha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, New Pi's goalkeeper Maximo Godoy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clive Burr. Clive Burr could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Maximo Godoy made a huge save. Marcelo Goito took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedro Paulo Penha. Pedro Paulo Penha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, Marcelo Goito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedro Paulo Penha. Ogro F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcelo Goito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Gualter Arce made in the 30th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Clive Burr. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ogro F.C.'s goalkeeper Pedro Paulo Penha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Marcelo Goito made a precise shot to the right of Pedro Paulo Penha. Ogro F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Ogro F.C.'s zone, Marcelo Goito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Paulo Penha came out of the goal and Marcelo Goito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42ndth minute of the game Marcelo Goito who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ogro F.C.'s Pedro Paulo Penha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Ogro F.C. defense, Marcelo Goito kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Paulo Penha. The Ogro F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Paulo Penha should have stopped the shot. The Ogro F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. New Pi were winning 0-4.

In the 55th minute, Clive Burr got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcelo Goito came free with the goalkeeper in the 59th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pedro Paulo Penha could save by the left post. New Pi's Maximo Godoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clive Burr in the 61st minute of play. 69 minutes had been played when some careless play by New Pi's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aaron Spears was slow to take the kick. During this time Ogro F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. 70 minutes into the game, New Pi's Jorge Osorio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Paulo Penha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deen Castronovo in the 75th minute of play forced New Pi's goalkeeper Maximo Godoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clive Burr struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Maximo Godoy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ogro F.C.. Pedro Paulo Penha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcelo Goito in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd of the match, Marcelo Goito tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Pedro Paulo Penha got in the way and made a wonderful save. With a little luck, Ogro F.C.'s Pedro Paulo Penha got control of the ball when Marcelo Goito tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 92ndth minute of the game Deen Castronovo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New Pi's Maximo Godoy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 94th minute of the game Esteban Costante made a throw-in which Jorge Osorio played forward. New Pi played a much better game than Ogro F.C. and deserved their victory. The Ogro F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
